I’ve done the Goofy Race and a Half challenge before but it was not like this....Best. Time. Ever.

Saturday’s race was a half marathon, the race I decided to actually try and run this year while Sunday’s race, the full Marathon, was run for fun in celebration of my best friend’s birthday. The half went well, I PR’d by more than 6 min even in the sleet and rain and freezing temperatures....in Florida....

The temperature remained the same for the full marathon but that didn’t damper our spirits at all. We stopped for pictures with all the characters, we rode a roller coaster, we purchased and ate a pretzel and a turkey leg all while running the marathon. So much fun.

A great start to an exciting new season.
